whats up everyone, i'm writing a blog to document my quarter in DC. its pretty nice over here the weather isn't HOT like I bet it is in LA right now. the atmosphere here is totally different than back home, everyone is in such a rush to get somewhere and do something... and everyone here walks, so there is alot of unwanted contact with people esp. because we are in such close quarters. i've almost been run over by these assholez of drivers numerous times. The other day actually, some dad was walking across the street with his kid on his shoulders and some dude in a car almost side swipes the man-- he got so pissed he kicked the car as it drove by him. it's pretty intense out here.
this building is where i'm staying the UCDC center, this is where i eat sleep study... everything. it's in the heart of the city so anywhere is decently close. if i'm not feeling too lazy i can probably walk to almost everywhere, the white house is only a 10 minute walk from this place. the lobby looks like some kind of art museum and the rooms are surprisingly huge. being in the city, I thought that the rooms were going to be little tiny holes in the wall but its pretty spacious.

I'm glad you are settling in nice. DC is a great drinking town...,but you'll be too busy working and learning right? LOL Be safe and stay healthy Chris.
